Olympic Closing Ceremonies Pay Tribute to British Fashion

Happy Monday! Hope you all had a great weekend. I watched most of the closing ceremonies of the Olympics last night and WOW, what a show! The show, titled "A Symphony of British Music" involved both established acts and new talent and included: Take That, The Who, George Michael, the Spice Girls, Ed Sheeran, Annie Lennox, Kate Bush, Pet Shop Boys, Madness, Kaiser Chiefs, Brian May and One Direction. If you missed it, a portion of the show payed tribute to British fashion. Models including Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell took part in the segment, all wearing clothes by famed British designers, Alexander McQueen, Erdem, Vivienne Westwood, Christopher Kane and Burberry. Trucks rolled into the arena carrying billboard-sized posters of the models. The images then fell to reveal the models themselves, all clad in gold, posing and strutting to David Bowie's "Fashion."

Today this segment of the ceremonies has received mixed reviews. What are your thoughts? Leave your comments below, I want to hear from you!
